Escape The Mind

As a promotional item for the York-Sheridan Design Program, I coined “Escape the (mind),” as a clever turn of phrase departing from the common, “Think outside the box.” The phrase captures my interpretation of and connection to design. As a comprehensive term, “design,” encompasses many elements that form our surroundings. This triptych postcard set consists of both traditional, hand-drawn illustrations and a bold typeface in the background. Together, the elements convey the idea behind “Escape the (mind).” The elegant combination of drawing and graphics is a prime example of the endless interdisciplinary approaches design can foster.
